Bendega Nui -traditional Balinese architecture within modern touches was designed by architect Glenn Parker. Surrounded by tropical gardens overlooking the rice fields, the villa is a short walk from the beach and a short drive to restaurants and boutiques of Seminyak. Bendega Nui is a five bedrooms villa; each bedroom with ensuite bathroom, terrace or private garden area. A reading balé, koi-filled ponds and a sun deck hidden below the pool create amazing atmosphere for an enjoyable vacation. There’s also a stunning alfresco lounge that overlooks the rice fields, a separate dining room with a table for up to 20 guests, a pool pavilion for outdoor dining and a large infinity pool situated to admire incredible Balinese sunsets. Finally, a dedicated, discreet team of staff, including a manager, private chef, butlers and villa attendants are on hand to look after guests with wide smiles and willing service, leaving you free to indulge charm and beauty of Bali.

One bedroom Master suite with plunge pool, sun deck and relaxation balé set in a private walled garden, can be added as an optional sixth room.

Bendega is Balinese for fisherman, a fitting name for this villa, which sits in a sea of rice terraces on the perimeter of the small traditional fishing village of Nelayan in Bali’s popular Canggu district. A five-minute walk down a quiet road will bring you to the stunning black-sands of Pantai Nelayan (a wonderful beach for walking and surfing but not safe for swimming), and a short stroll along the sands from here is the Tugu Hotel, an atmospheric boutique hotel-museum stacked with antiques and a ‘must visit’ during your stay. Many interesting cafés, bars, and restaurants are springing up throughout this part of Canggu – several within easy walking distance of the villa.
